Awareness

There are many different schools to choose from and the wrong choice may have an impact on your education. You will also need a good selection of vocabulary words.

Preparedness

College costs have grown increasingly expensive. You will need to be prepared for the prices to get into your college, paying for classes, savings, and work.

Eligibility

To get into Walla Walla College you'll need to show evidence of having received a high school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma (GED), be enrolled at least half time in an eligible school, and be a US Citizen or permanent resident. Any other college probably have the same requirements. If you are a home schooler but take part time public school they will probably require you to take the WASL, that is if you live in Washington. If you live in an other state it would probably be AASL, TASL, or whatever.

Student Resources

You can find scholarship information through your school counselors office, the local library, in the admissions offices of colleges, as well as the recommended Internet sites below.  Keep a folder/notebook with information you find throughout the junior and senior year.
