Today is our fourth day in Internship and I am working on my webpage. I haven't had a chance to talk to Mrs. Strohbean yet but I think I already know where I am going to end up working. I think I will be making webpages for someone at the courthouse. Mr. Moore says I'm really good at it, so hopefully I will satisfy whoever I am going to be working for. Other than that, I'm just curious about what new experiences I'm going to have there and eager t learn more in that field.

I have now been to my internship three times. I haven never really worked at a place like a court so it is kind of new to me. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I don’t feel smart at all when I go there because I have to ask a lot of questions since I have never worked in such a place. It never has been and is not now the career field I would like to go in, but it still gives me many important experiences that might be useful to me in the future. I am sure that as time passes, I will understand more of what I am doing and be more of a help to Kerry than I am right now. I think it is cool how I don’t have to work on the same stuff every time I go there. I was given a schedule of the different events that take place and the different things that are done there each day of the week. I also get to watch court sometimes.

Journal Entry #3: Thrusday, Febuary 22, 2007

It has been a month since I started my internship. The best thing about my internship is that everyone is very friendly and cooperative. The work I do there is very complicated for me because I have never done anything like it before. 99% of the work I do is filing, which I have done before but it is still very complex. I ask a great number of questions everyday because a lot of the times, I don't know where I am supposed to file something. I haven't been to my internship since last Wednesday, because there is either a holiday or I miss school. I am thinking about doing the coffee talk soon, but I don't want to interfere with Kerry's schedule so I will do it when she is comfortable with it

I very much enjoyed the talk I had with Dr. Passmore. I learned that even if you are not good with biology you can still be into a medical profession. He also told us quite a bit about himself and about his experience in the dental profession so far. We were encouraged to go visit him if we were seriously considering something in the dental field. If I get a chance to, I would like to go intern for him next year. I think it would give me a better idea of what it would be like to work at a dental office
