Friday, March 29th. This week was very interesting and educational. I am learning more and more things, and I am being aloud to do them. I now can prep and cat or dog by myself without a lot of help. At this point in time, I can: shave the animal, sterilize surgery area, hook up heart monitor, clip claws, and check ears. I also do some grooming.

This week I help watched as Dr. Kennie spayed two pregnant cats. One was about a week away from giving birth, the other was only two week along. I was able to see one of the fetus. I groomed a cat and learned a little bit about ticks. Also I was able to help draw blood from a small dog, and listened to her heart (she had a heart murmur, it was bad). That's about it.
