Wednesday, February 7th. Today was a very interesting day. I got to help pull a dogs tooth. This dog’s teeth were in very bad shape.

We put the dog to sleep then I got to hook up the heart monitor to her. Then something very funny happened, she started to pee, but since she was asleep all it was, was a drip. And if we had left her alone she would have continued to drip through out the morning so Darbie had to squeeze the pee out of her! LOL.

After that the dog was ready. So I watched as Dr. Keenie cut the gum then proceed to cut out and pulled the tooth. Its weird but there was more blood pulling the tooth and everything then there was in a regular surgery such as spading.

Dr. Kennie then but some stuff into the hole that helps bones grow so that there wouldn't be a space. And then Dr. Kennie put in three stitches to close the hole.
